Guerrilla Crosswalking

My old neighbors unsuccessfully lobbied their City Council for a crosswalk for a year and a half. Early one morning, this appeared:

   That’s fabulous. I’ll be interested to learn if the crosswalk actually has any impact on the behavior of dangerous drivers.
